It’s honestly really baffling to me that not communicating is actively used as relationship advice. Like for a personal example, my girlfriend loves to eat. She’s joked more than once that her favorite food is “all of them”. But she can’t eat chocolate because it exacerbates her headaches. If I hadn’t asked her about if she had food allergies or anything like that, I’d never have known, and I’m sure that somewhere down the line I’d have tried to surprise her with a huge chocolate dessert and made her sick because I’d just have assumed that she loved chocolate.
Please don’t just make assumptions about the person you’re planning on spending your life with, TALK TO THEM ABOUT EVERYTHING.
Every woman has different needs and tastes and that’s why dating is important: you learn about each other. Even after dating people change so you gotta speak up.
And beyond that, why are men expected to be the performers? Men have their needs too.
It’s a mistake to become entrenched in tribalism. It’s the very definition of regressive. “The other side” isn’t a monolith. It’s made up of individual people with individual and nuanced views.
I normally don’t post political things, but this is important. Our society has become far too black and white about these things. There is not “us vs them.” It’s just “us.” To view the world in extremes and absolutes will be the end of us all.
Ben and Jerry’s isn’t making an empty advertising gesture. They company has supported Bernie Sanders, and made an ice cream flavor to raise awareness of global warming. They run progressive news stories on their websites and social media. They pay their workers a living wage. Even their brownies are sourced from a company that specializes in hiring people out of jail to help them get their lives back on track. They’re open supporters of socialism. I understand the idea of “no ethical consumption” but Ben and Jerry’s isn’t just adopting a political message for nothing.

yea, this is the best advice. i emailed support a year or so ago about a pedophilic blog i found, never found out what happened to it despite support having to email you back based on what has happened on/to the blog. im assuming they just deleted it, which fuck you staff
luckily, i did report it to the FBI. do that here. sadly, youll need to disclose information, but who gives a fuck when thats the only price of potentially saving children from sex trafficking? try to be thorough in what you send, give links, archive what you find so if tumblr takes it down, itll still be available in some way. dont try to be an internet vigilante by trying to track their IP or etc, because some pedophiles KNOW what theyre doing because theyve been doing it so long. you don’t know if they’ve already set precautions in place and you’ll be giving false information, which, as we discussed, can land you in jail with a fine. regardless of how inefficient the government is, let the professionals take care of it. be safe yall ❤
