okay but why don’t more people talk about Night at the Museum like

image

poc characters and people being portrayed by poc people

image

this movie is so good

image

and it has one of the funniest, best, most ridiculous friendships in movie history

image

and you have Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt I mean

image

and if all that didn’t convince you there’s also a t-Rex skeleton that plays fetch with one of its own ribs

THIS MOVIE

DON’T FORGET THE QUIRKY AND FUNNY IMMORTAL VILLAIN SQUAD LED BY DICK VAN DYKE

OR THE EASTER ISLAND HEAD THAT LOVED BUBBLEGUM (or, as he called it, gum-gum)

OR THE FACT THAT THEIR HISTORICALLY-ACCURATE CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS DIDN’T SPEAK ENGLISH

Ok that’s a pretty good pitch.

Night at the Museum is seriously one of the most underappreciated movie franchises – and one of my favourites. A a giant history and film nerd, it was so refreshing to see such ACCURATE portrayals, without losing any of the huomor or the heart. I love it

One of my favorite movie 👌

It was a decent flick. I rewatched it on ‘Netflix’ recently and it does still hold up as a good family movie with some decent jokes and strong writing

The sequel, mind you, was pretty bloody weak, and I’ve never seen the third, but I believe to have missed nothing of note.

Part 1 was good

Part 2 was good but not as good as the first one

Part 3 was an abomination that shouldn’t have existed

At the age of 19 Padme Amidala was the queen of a planet and had already saved her people from total crisis

At the age of 19 Anakin Skywalker was married and a general in a galaxy wide war and was considered to be one of the most powerful Jedi in history

At the age of 19 Leia Organa was a senator in the imperial senate as well as a leader and spy for the Rebellion

At the age of 19 Luke was making vroom vroom noises with his toy planes

I love him so much

Reblog if you empathize with Luke

At Luke’s age of 19, Uncle Owen established the longest record of holding back the tidal forces of Skywalker bullshit, besting the previous record of 22 minutes set by Obi Wan Kenobi
