Here’s the reason why Communism will always lead to this result because it is so easy to corrupt. That’s why it always fails, no matter how moral the founders try to be, it is fertile soil for corruption and malice.
All systems are doomed to face some corruption and malice, Capitalism at least tries to limit it by preventing those who would be corrupt from having access to the guns of the Government by limiting what the government can do. Communism, however, puts all the faith into the Government, and then acts surprised when the government corrupts and they are trapped with no one to protect them.
Literally why would anybody vote Democrat? For fuck’s sake less than 24 hours after getting small gains in the house the first thing they announce is that they won’t do the one thing most of the people who voted for them really wanted? I mean don’t get me wrong impeaching Trump was a pipe dream that would only be accomplished if they truly managed to pull off that “blue wave“ which I think we all knew wasn’t going to happen, but geez louise you could at least wait a few days before telling your constituents you don’t give a fuck about them.
Also, and I keep coming back to this, what the hell do you think will happen if you impeach Trump? I’ll give you a hint: you won’t magically get a Democratic president. What you’ll get is Mike Pence. All that shit Trump says mostly to get a reaction? Pence means it from the bottom of his heart. I’m quite certain anybody who doesn’t like Trump absolutely doesn’t want Pence.

oppression isn’t generational and trying to frame politics as “the old people are wrong and the young people are right” erases the fact that there are old people who have been fighting the good fight for decades and the fact that there are young people who are literally nazis
Plus while there might be less old people fighting the good fight it’s usually because they were killed or were part of the minorities that have poor living conditions that kill you early
