They called it the Rey/Kylo trilogy in one paragraph AND they called it the Reylo trilogy in another paragraph, lol. I can’t believe this is real life. Three years ago none of us would have imagined that a credible media outlet like Forbes would be using the literal ship name in their article. :P
OH MAN WHOOPS YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT I thought I’d read the whole article but I missed the entire second section
IF I COULD ONLY TIME TRAVEL AND SHOW THIS TO 2016 ME AND WATCH HER PASS OUT FROM THE SHOCK
😏 yeah we’re mainstream guys
The more stuff like this happens the more it adds to the already absolutely disgraceful ridiculousness that the pre-TLJ Reylo community was shit on and shut out far and wide for doing nothing but INTERPRETING THE STORY FUCKING CORRECTLY.
The problem with this article though is that they’re insinuating that only white men disliked TLJ (which isn’t true at all) and that they only disliked it for Reylo (most haters admit that Reylo was well executed, it’s the rest of the film they had a problem with).
I mean it’s good to have Reylo acknowledged but can we please do it in a way that doesn’t go “ewww white dudes in our fandom lol”? Because that would be great.
