I know I sound like a lot of those people who scream “FEMINAZI” and “soy boy” and every opportunity, but there is actually a very noticeable problem of a lot of modern Western media, particularly cartoons, bring noticeably feminized.

It’s an uncool thing to say, but almost all modern Western cartoons feel like they’re on T-blockers. Even Voltron is all pastel and that’s not even on any of the big networks, it’s a Netflix show.

“It’s time women got some representation” “well now you know how it felt when all shows were about men”, God, shut the fuck up with that logic. It’s not even about female representation, Adventure Time has two make protagonists and it’s EXTREMELY emasculated.

This is a very obvious result of the villianization of masculinity and college feminists (stressing “college” here) playing up feminine gender roles (which are actually sexist in their own way) as a juvenile attempt to show it up to men.

It’s extremely transparent and is bad for both the animation industry and Western culture as a whole.

I definitely agree. One non-castrated show I know is Gravity Falls, and the others are indeed pastel and adrenaline deprived in a way. College feminists defining masculinity as negative and oppressive are actually spitting on gnc women who reclaim masculinity for themselves, not to mention naturally masculine men who need positive portrayal of healthy masculinity to help them take inspiration from there instead of flawed patriarchal content, and develop less toxic masculinity-associated behaviours and stances.
