It’s happened again, the new thing I become obsessed with (and the OTP that came with it) has infected my dreams

Joe, Diesel, and S1 chief go to the restaurant where the yugioh episode happened

They’re talking about a new case but then chief gets a call and has to meet someone, he leaves the table and says he’ll be back later

Diesel goes through the menu and sees a plate of those round rice things on a stick in pink and green and says something about how she always wanted to try it

Joe buys a plate of them but Diesel says “OMG no we will split the bill” then Joe says no he’s going to pay in full.

They realise the plate is too big so they share. Diesel tells Joe “you’re acting like this is a date” he doesn’t say anything

They both talk about personal things while eating from the same plate and then they talk something emotional (you can’t hear what they said) and they start getting close and hugging

Diesel starts looking around and realises their table is in a secluded corner and nobody is watching them. So she gets up from her seat and kisses him on the lips. They kiss for a long time and don’t notice anything around them

The chief comes back and he sees this and starts laughing. He asks “For how long was I gone??”

They hear his voice and look very embarrassed. Diesel returns to her seat and both of them try to act like nothing happened

They continue to discuss the case and diesel slips her phone under the table and texts joe “we will continue this at my house” he says “the discussion?” She says “no.” He realises and he says okay

Cut to Diesel shaking and very nervously fixing her makeup at her house and the doorbell ringing. She takes a deep breath and walks to the door.

Cut to the next morning in the office and officer Vink looks at Diesel suspiciously

Then Chief says Joe is going to carry on the case alone and he already sent him. Diesel freaks out and runs around searching for him

She eventually finds him in an alley and he says that the enemy found out their relationship and plans to use it to his advantage which is why he sent joe alone and she has to leave

She says “I love you” and he says I love you too and tells her not to get hurt.

Aaaaand the dream ended there. Why are my dreams so coherent and insistent on ending ambiguously?
