that in the Chinese version of Disney’s Mulan, the fake name she gives is “Ping”, but her family name “Fa” in English is “Hua” in Chinese, therefore her full name is “Hua Ping”, which is literally “Flower Vase”, and that’s why Shang is so bewildered because it’s a silly name.

but OP how could you not tell them the best part

“hua ping”/flower vase is chinese slang for “camp gay”

All those people saying trigger warnings aren’t enough or that the fact that the content needs trigger warnings makes said content ableist are only making me lean more and more towards stopping putting any warning on my works.

What’s the point? You guys are still going to bitch. You guys are still going to call the work ableist. You guys are still going to slander me and everyone else who posts work containing potential triggering content.

You know what you are? Entitled. Entitled little fucks who can’t stand the fact that not everything exists solely for them. Because newsflash, sweethearts – not every work is for everyone! We all have our likes and dislikes, and, yes, things we can and cannot handle, things that trigger us. You aren’t special. Insulting the creators or their works only makes YOU an asshole.

A movie put up warning for triggering scenes, flashing lights, etc. You know why they did that? For you. For your asses, so that you can avoid it if you aren’t able to handle it.

And what do you fucks do? You call it ableist because it exists.

Well, fuck you! Fuck your entitled little asses.

We read all kinds of things on fanfiction dot net and there were rarely trigger warnings. Barely anyone complained.

Yet you get warned about content, and you complain that it exists!

Fuck you!
