“ Girls are rewarded for being ‘tomboys’!” ……..No they fucking aren’t. Please ask any gnc woman what her childhood was like. At best, being a ‘tomboy’ is tolerated up to a certain age but is harshly punished and discouraged after that. Women who aren’t what society deems as ‘acceptably feminine’ are often at risk for violence, social ostracism and rejection from their family, friends and peers. I’m so sick of people acting like gnc women have some kind of privilege for being that way because they really don’t.

And most importantly girls who are tomboys receive social rejection mostly from other women and girls. All the people who mocked and shamed me for being into nerd things were girls.

Although I wouldn’t say being a tomboy is punished AFTER a certain age. In fact it’s more acceptable for adult women to be tomboys than for young girls, because children have a higher tendency to bully people outside the norm than adults, who usually educate them on why that’s wrong.

Cuba continues to have the rest of the world GAGGING!

#WorldAIDSDay

Didn’t they “eliminate” mother-child AIDS by sequestering pregnant women with aids until they died?

Cuba isn’t a great place guys. Stop acting like it is.

You’re clearly misunderstanding the relationship and dynamics between women. If a man cornered you and a woman cornered you, you’d have different reactions. Just like you wouldn’t care as much if a woman smacked your bottom as if a man did.

Heterosexual women aren’t the only women in the world. Lesbian and bisexual women exist, so they would react the exact same way if a woman groped them as did a man.

And women have a tendency to excuse something just because other women are doing it, and there is a pressure to support something because other girls support it. Even Powerpuff girls pointed this out with the Femme Fatale episode where one of her points is “girls have to look out for each other no matter what”, which is bringing up a toxic aspect of female socialization.

Even in schools, among girls, there is more pressure to conform to the norm than among boys. Female bullies are less punished than male bullies also for the same reason, because women are taught to inherently trust other women even though this is a very dangerous thing to teach.

Why is it that women never check other women for doing shit wrong? A woman slaps another woman’s ass and “it’s just girl things”. A woman gropes men at clubs and they all laugh and cheer her on. A woman slaps a man and again, everyone laughs and cheer her on.

It’s because of differences in gender socialisation. You know how there’s a toxic masculinity? There’s a toxic feminity as well.

One aspect of it is you must support “your fellow sisters” regardless of what they do otherwise you hate all women. Or that you must support your (female) friends when they do something bad otherwise you’re not their friends.

Toxic masculinity is more individualistic and toxic feminity is more collectivistic. Both in excess are bad.

I remember an article from somewhere where this woman wears her dress until you can basically see her cooch. The reason for that “experiment” is to expose men for catcalling her or some shit but turns out she didn’t get catcalled(only leered) by men. But she did get catcalled by a lot of women and apparently that makes her feel empowered. Just shows how if a guy catcalls a girl, he’s a gross, mysoginistic pig but if a girl catcalls a girl, it’s empowering.

That’s also why F/F rape isn’t taken seriously by the left or the right.
