I actually like this hashtag

If you have people telling you to sympathise with and forgive your abuser and/or rapist because she was another woman #thankafeminist

If a girl who wants to go into STEM or business is discouraged from her dreams because those industries are “hostile towards women” #thankafeminist

If a butch or gnc girl feels like she’s being a woman wrong #thankafeminist

If an autistic girl feels like she’s being a woman wrong #thankafeminist

If you notice that anxiety and depression in girls skyrockets in social justice circles and ultra liberal universities #thankafeminist

If an upper class American white girl living in a bungalow tries to talk over the experiences of women in places that actually struggle #thankafeminist

Can we just talk for a moment about gay and lesbian people who call themselves, respectively, trans femme or trans masc and nonbinary?

Really, when they elaborate, it seems that many of them actually  have a legitimate problem with internalized homophobia.

You can be a man who likes men and who loves presenting in a traditionally feminine way. That doesn’t make you less of a man.

You can be a woman who likes women and who loves presenting in a traditionally masculine way. That doesn’t make you less of a woman.

My good folks, dress and act however you want, but don’t assign your gender based upon your fitting inside of the heteronormative binary, or whatever. Being transgender – legitimately transgender – isn’t about societal factors: it’s an internal disconnect between your brain’s perception of your body and your body.

I know that lots of nonbinary people point to cultural third genders as “proof” of nonbinary identities, but don’t take to heart the generally homophobic mindset of these cultures (many of which considered gay or gnc men or women as “third genders” because they literally were not heteronormative).

Lusamine is adorable when she’s not suffering from psychosis. 💗 I’ve always defended her even back when Sun/Moon the games were released. She screwed up. But I knew she wasn’t evil. She snapped and had a bout with insanity. I knew she could be redeemed. So I was very happy when Ultra Sun/Moon did show that. And I love how the anime as handled her character. I’m interested to know though if the anime is going to focus on the subject of Mohn, her missing husband that triggered her descent into insanity in the first place. Or are we just not gonna know who Lillie and Gladion’s father is in the anime? 😅

“But I knew she wasn’t evil. She snapped and had a bout with insanity.”

Oh no, anyone who does the stuff Lusamine did even without having been driven totally mad by Nihilego’s toxin (which USUM confirmed was the case with abusing her kids, creating and experimenting on Type Null, freezing all those Pokemon, giving financing to Team Skull, and almost killing Nebby in order to open a wormhole – none of that had anything to do with Nihilego and all to do with Lusamine) is evil to some degree. Lusamine probably outdoes the likes of Guzma, Archie, Maxie, Colress, most people in Team Rocket, and even Cyrus in terms of evilness, and she was certainly not a good person by any stretch in the games. At most, she used to be decent, but not really truly good. Seeing her realize she needs to get better and doing just that in USUM is powerful because of how bad she’d been. It shows it’s never too late to start on self-improvement and making the right life choices, even for someone like her.

Anime Lusamine, though? Nah, not really evil at all.

Seriously the only villain worse than Lusamine is Ghetsis.

It’s unimaginable and disgusting that this happens to children that don’t even understand what’s happening to them.

-Allie

I don’t normally put political things on my blog but this one got me bad

this is why feminism is important. for females to be seen as equal, to be able to make decisions for themselves, to protect themselves. and lourdes is only a girl, even. where is her rights to retain her childhood?

Notice how all the pro-lifers are totally silent on this post?

There are 310,000+ notes.  You sure none of them are pro-life?

This situation is horrendous.  The obvious solution is to allow the baby to be adopted.

And to emasculate her baby’s father with a rusty bear trap.

^^^^^^

How  come this image post doesn’t mention this girl being sexually abused/raped at such a young age why isn’t that a damn issue? So only the baby is the problem not her being abused sexually/raped just the baby is the problem is what im gathering from this petition image here.  As long as she can have an abortion it’s alright for her to be abused/raped? How about we stop the damn problem where it starts which is sexual abuse and rape.

Right? If we eliminate the person who was responsible for abusing and taking advantage of her to begin with, she wouldn’t have gotten pregnant and this petition wouldn’t even be a thing.

So I got curious about this and started googling this story and I jsut could not find anything other than posts form Amnesty international saying it happened. Then I just searched “Pregnant 9 year old El Salvador” and here it is from 2003

image

So the Pro Life group in El Salvador took her and her baby in and AWAY from her abusive home AND was trying to get DNA evidence to find and try her rapist (possibly the stepdad) while American feminists in 2015 try to use her story to promote abortion. Thats kinda disgusting.

Thank you for that. I love when people try to demonize pro-lifers but it’s usually THEM, who actually go out and do things for women/girls who find themselves with a baby and need help

Wow

It makes me so angry when people take someone’s story of abuse and pain and twist it to their own agenda. This girl was abused. She was mistreated in the worst way. Against all odds, a new human life was created within this little girl.

And some people think the best solution would be to go inside this girl’s body and destroy the new life.

Instead, the baby was delivered and pro-lifers are caring for both this girl and her baby, and are trying to ensure her abusers are brought to justice.

Note: they’re caring for her after the baby is born.

So much for “you only care about fetuses” and “you don’t care for women after they’re born”

The pro-choice answer to this girl’s situation was to kill her baby. The pro-life answer was to care for her and her baby, get both of them out of the situation, and prosecute the rapist.

^^ reblogging for pro-life response, NOT for misguided attempt of amnestyusa to end abortion stigma.

Shame on the pro-choice side for this horrendous photo-set. Shame on you for taking a little girls suffering and using it to further your disgusting movement. Shame on your for implying that this girls life is forever ruined because she did not have an abortion. I want EVERY pro-choicer to see this, to see that it was a PRO-LIFE group who helped this girl and is still helping her. If a pro-choice group would have gotten a hold of her abortion would have definitely been pushed and probably even forced on her. Because that didn’t happen, a life was spared and is now able to live their life. Anyway, I’m so glad that both children are being cared for.

Ah, yet MORE fake news and half-truths from the “enlightened”, “pro-human” side to further its agenda. Not to mention that ending “abortion stigma” is more important to them than preventing the abuse which made this situation possible in the first place.

Colour me shocked.

There was a very real chance that both the girl AND the baby could have died, which was why abortion was considered, but it luckily did not turn out that way and the mother and the child are intact.

If in this case, pro-lifers helped them both survive, why not give credit where it’s due?
