so as this post says, if you’r finding your blog is all jumbled, old posts popping up to the front, new posts not showing up at all, etc it is because of those posts being flagged and then unflagged. all you have to do is open them to edit and save them again and they’ll go back.
i just wanted to make this separate post to add that once you do that all your new posts will go back to being visible at the top of your blog as they should be i just did it and now everything’s fine on my blog.

Because my father was a childbeater (though my mother beat us more than three times as much as he did and far more severely) and my ex-husband hit me (he didn’t get the chance to go on hitting me, I did something about it; hence, the ex) and told me they were going to find me dead in the street if I went through with the divorce (one of us was found dead in the street long after I did; wasn’t me) and those two neighborhood boys (one of who grew up to be a literal ax murderer) shoved me in the weeds and said they were to rape me, I’m supposed to think all men are like that?
I don’t. Never have. Because I’ve known so many more good men than bad. It was a man that yelled what are you boys doing there that gave me the chance to escape from future ax murderer and his brother. A frail little old man who had the courage to step out on his porch and interfere despite being their neighbor and most likely knowing their violent nature. My Dad was brutal but not only was he less so than my mother, I had numerous uncles, teachers, neighbors, friends of the male persuasion who treated me with kindness and respect. My ex was a scum bag and while I never remarried, most guys I dated treated me with respect and admiration.

I am a woman. I cannot go back to even an inch from my middle school without disassociating because of what my female bullies did to me. I cannot see things drom it or related to it without a bodily and emotional response. It traumatized me. There is a good chance I have some sort of PTSD but no doctor has confirmed it yet. I cannot see people who look like my abusive ex friend (also a woman) without having a panic attack. And you honestly think people are making this worse than it is or that it does not happen a lot? I am also a woman. My bullies throughout my school years were girls. I have been sexually harassed by girls. My elementary school teachers were abusive and all women. My abusive cousin was a girl. My friend group who was all girls conspired to leave me at the mercy of my ex boyfriend who wanted to molest me. My rapist was a woman and abused me so much that it gave me PTSD and I had to go to a therapist for it, and even afterwards it caused my personality to drastically change.
All this abuse didn’t make me anti-women. It made me emotionally numb and crushed my faith in humanity as a whole. I’m not hateful or bitter towards a demographic for things they can’t control. That’s the difference between a normal person and a bigot.

The difference is that Santa has also become a thing in Japan and Korea and the former is most certainly not a Christian country. Even in Indian malls we have Santa events and such things even though Christmas is strictly a Christian holiday here and nobody else celebrates it. Santa may have had a religious connotation then, but he doesn’t know.
Hinduism doesn’t have an equivalent myth to Santa so it would be impossible for a teacher to do something like this. The way Indian adults encourage children to be good is by telling them that the gods will punish them or demons will take them away if they are bad. So telling kids “actually demons won’t take you away if you don’t eat your breakfast” won’t have the same effect as “Santa isn’t real.”
