There’s a great resurgence of Anti-anti-SJW youtubers (Shaun, InnuendoStudios, Lindsay Ellis, ContraPoints, Hbomberguy, Peter Coffin, Three Arrows, & Philosophy Tube). They debunk common conservative/Anti-SJW talking points, and are growing fast.

Yeah it’s pretty easy to “debunk” any talking point when you’re arguing with yourself instead of actually debating a person

Also LMAO contrapoints

>citing HBomberguy as an intelegent human being

Yeah, ok, sure

Wait a second. Remember how Sarkesian said Hitman Absolution encouraged violence against women, and people said you have to go out of your way to be violent against the female characters in question? Wasn’t HBG the guy who said Hitman Absolution wasn’t supposed to be an example of what the narration was talking about?

And didn’t Sarkeesian’s tumblr endorse it?

And didn’t she provide a completely different explanation on stage a year or so later?

Also didn’t Lindsay Ellis call True Lies racist and sexist for literally no reason other than to be TRIGGERED REEEE and said that Kylo Ren was a “bad influence” on young girls?

Yeah not someone to go to for politics

Political coworker made a common (feminist) mistake.

She was going on about how men who wear hair pieces stuff socks in their pants to make bigger bulges are “coercing women into sex, which is rape”.

She went on for a good 5 minutes about how dishonest it is to lie about your appearance during dates and how poor those women are when they figure out the guy has a bald spot or isnt packing as much as she thought. How they are “traumatized” after being tricked like this.

This went on and on and while she was talking, another (female) coworker interrupted her to ask about the new hair extensions, padded bra and make up that she was wearing for her date tonight.

Needless to say that the self awareness was not there.

Read Debord.

Vox actually did a pretty nice article about it, and in case you were wondering what charities it is supposed to be benefiting

Ben and Jerry’s isn’t making an empty advertising gesture. They company has supported Bernie Sanders, and made an ice cream flavor to raise awareness of global warming. They run progressive news stories on their websites and social media. They pay their workers a living wage. Even their brownies are sourced from a company that specializes in hiring people out of jail to help them get their lives back on track. They’re open supporters of socialism. I understand the idea of “no ethical consumption” but Ben and Jerry’s isn’t just adopting a political message for nothing.

Women’s march?? The same women’s march that supported Linda Sarsour and Donna Hylton?!

Ummm… if they knew what they were supporting then that was actually a REALLY scummy thing to do.
