me: logs off for 12 hours and spends time out with my friends

some person: hey. where are you. lol why haven’t you replied. you’re scared you just know I’m right I’ve won

One time someone tried to call me problematic for “ignoring” them for a period of time that wasn’t more than 8-12 hours. I’d been asleep.

Happened to me too.

Hey, not-so-friendly reminder that acting like your whole world is crumbling because a story didn’t end how you wanted is incredibly immature.

And resenting the creators of a thing because your personal fantasies about the thing didn’t come true is pathetic.

Yes, the story meant a lot to you, I get it. But at the end of the day, that is because YOU decided to become so personally attached and possessive over SOMEBODY ELSE’S work. They didn’t make it to adhere to your fantasies. They made it to tell the story THEY wanted to tell.

You just decided it was yours, instead. But you don’t get to make that decision.

How dare you act offended and personally hurt just because you couldn’t control something that was never yours to begin with? How low can you get?

Sharing because I agree and think it’s ridiculous to attach so much to an indie game. You’re not gonna believe what life’s got in store if this is the case!

If the ending wasn’t good just make up one and call it a day. Bendy and Slenderman aren’t real, so you can rewrite them however.

I know Tumblr is a safer space for being wrapped up in fantasies, but the real world is still watching.

Very well put. Reblogging this and leaving it up.

Also counter to anyone who says “fans donated to make BATIM so they should get to decide the end!”. FUCK. NO. Donating to a project does not give anyone any amount of ownership over that project. Fans donated to get the game made PERIOD, not to have it made to their specificities. That investment was to support theMeatley in HIS endeavour with HIS work, not co-opt it into being theirs!

If anyone seriously does not understand that fundemental point of Patreon, they are too young/too naive to be giving money away on Patreon.

So I’m not sure if it’s weird? But I’m a white conservative, and yet I have a much milder/more “pc” sense of humer than my very liberal friends. They all make jokes about the Holocaust, and 9/11, and race, and I’m kinda ??? because they’re all super liberal! And they say all Republicans are racist and sexist, but they say way more offensive stuff than I would even think of. It kind of makes me mad at them, because they’re blaming me for stuff I dont do but they do, but they’re my only friends…

People don’t fit neatly into boxes. A lot of liberals are irreverent and a lot of conservatives are PC. But if they try to imply that you’re a racist or sexist because of your political beliefs, you have plenty of ammo to throw in their faces.

Shakuntala Devi, an Indian mental calculator, was asked to give the 23rd root of a 201-digit number; she answered in 50 seconds. Her answer was confirmed by calculations done at the US Bureau of Standards for which a special program had to be written to perform such a large calculation.

She was also one of the early pioneers of gay rights in India and published a book on homosexuality way back in 1977 calling for the full acceptance and decriminalization of homosexuality. This was after her marriage broke up, due to her husband being a gay man.
