Me: Okay so you just completely missed the point of both these movies

*twenty minutes prior to this she said that gender roles and what is considered feminine and masculine is made up by society

It is astonishing that anyone misses the obvious truth that masculinity and femininity are identified, not assigned. We observe which traits are primarily expressed in males and label those traits masculine, and so on.

For anyone you encounter who disagrees with this, challenge them to come up with an example of a trait that is generally considered “masculine”, but that is more prevalent among females than males.

This person’s teacher pretty accurately demonstrated that feminism is just about finding something sexist in everything so they can complain about it, not actually empowering women or allowing them to enjoy things. It’s like fandom purity culture except it somehow has academic support.
