It’s an “unscripted web series” yet I think the fact that a young girl responded to the question of “why doesn’t hello kitty have a mouth” with “The people who created her didn’t want Asian girls to speak up about who they are” says other wise.

Send Ms. Wong to live with her extended family in China for a few months, she will change her tune.
