It’s because of differences in gender socialisation. You know how there’s a toxic masculinity? There’s a toxic feminity as well.
One aspect of it is you must support “your fellow sisters” regardless of what they do otherwise you hate all women. Or that you must support your (female) friends when they do something bad otherwise you’re not their friends.
Toxic masculinity is more individualistic and toxic feminity is more collectivistic. Both in excess are bad.
I remember an article from somewhere where this woman wears her dress until you can basically see her cooch. The reason for that “experiment” is to expose men for catcalling her or some shit but turns out she didn’t get catcalled(only leered) by men. But she did get catcalled by a lot of women and apparently that makes her feel empowered. Just shows how if a guy catcalls a girl, he’s a gross, mysoginistic pig but if a girl catcalls a girl, it’s empowering.
That’s also why F/F rape isn’t taken seriously by the left or the right.
