Of course the caste system existed before the British came and made it even worse, but when did I ever defend it? The Namboothiris are the highest (and were the richest) brahmin caste in Kerala and many took advantage of the system like every other high caste, good grief.

For that matter, who the hell is defending the problems in Hinduism outside this conversation? Every argument you’ve presented to me so far is “yes but hinduism has x problems so you have double standards!!!”; not once I have said Hinduism is the best religion or is free from problems. Not once have I tried to justify the problems of Hinduism; I’ve only said why I prefer to follow it rather than Islam. I prefer it to all other religions, Islam isn’t that special.

AND DISLIKING ISLAM IS NOT THE SAME AS DISLIKING MUSLIMS. THE CHARACTER OF A PERSON IS NOT DEFINED BY THEIR RELIGION, IT’S BY THEIR CODE OF CONDUCT.

That means I will hate the muslims who kill and hurt others in the name of Islam. But I will not hate the ones peacefully following Islam and doing good to the world. My neighbor doesn’t deserve to lose his job as a bus driver because he is a Muslim and is a genuinely nice person. However the ones who bombed the Shia mosque in Kuwait should be punished because they killed innocents in the name of Islam. They’re as bad as the gau rakshaks killing people over eating beef because Hinduism doesn’t allow it.

You: Islam has xyz problems and that’s bad maybe something should be done about that?

If it’s bad when Hindus do it, it’s also bad when Muslims do it.
