At the end of the day if you decide you wanna ban all porn based on the chance that it may not be consensual and could be abusive, here are some other things you’ll also have to ban based on that logic:

– sex

– kissing

– hugging

– having parents

– being in a relationship

– holding hands

– breathing

– women’s sexual freedom

The argument that “BUT IT MIGHT BE BAD!!!” is ridiculous and detracts from what you should be fighting against which is just abuse in the porn industry and not porn by itself. Nobody is going to want to help you if you just want to ban porn completely because porn is not inherently wrong or abnormal. Only a legitimately bad person wouldn’t want to help you stop abuse within an industry. Condemning the entire thing will not help you do that.

I mean the porn industry can be very toxic and there is a lot of abuse going on. But instead of making more stringent regulations or calling for reforms, radfems want to BAN the industry outright.

As much as people don’t like the “oldest profession”, it’s not going to go away. What we can do is make it safe so nobody gets hurt.
