honestly, transitioning medically should not be done by underage kids. it is possible they are not even trans nor need the process of transitioning done. during that time, hormones are going crazy, kids are impressionable and very easily swayed and convinced into things regarding gender and sexuality, confusion is bound to happen and what is believed to be dysphoria could be something else entirely – it could even be just a symptom of going through puberty.

kids already don’t care about gender roles or this or that, so they don’t need to start being confused and thinking they’re trans when someone mentions; “oh, you’re a tomboy? maybe you’re trans !” that’s not going to do any good and its going to sit in their mind to ponder over it and over it and over it. they could make a mistake by transitioning too early like some people do and then come to realize that they are not trans and detransition but essentially have altered their body to an extent already.

it can be dangerous. transitioning is definitely not something children should do – it should be put on hold until they are of age and done going through puberty to really determine whether or not they are actually trans and are actually experiencing gender dysphoria and not something else like dysmorphia or just a general distaste for gender roles.

i know this is super controversial but kids should not be medically transitioning.
