I’m glad this article highlights that if this man made it to shore and had extended contact with these people, he would have exposed them to diseases they’ve never seen before and potentially killed them all. There’s a reason it’s illegal to go there, and Jesus isn’t gonna protect them from chicken pox or the flu.

Tbh @ the people who are defending him bc of his intentions. Sure his intentions were good but he’s ignorant. This tribe has no idea India exists. This tribe has no knowledge outside of their lands and have no idea there is laws to abide by. They do not know what Christianity is nor I bet they want to abide by it. Plus, it was obvious, they’ve taken out ANYONE coming near their land and they have 0 immunity to disease. Sure he was trying to do something with no ill intentions, but the ignorance of the outcome and warnings (hence it being illegal) made him incredibly stupid and this was entirely his fault.
