THIS IS THE QUALITY ANIMATION Y’ALL DUMBASSES SCREAMED SO LOUDLY ABOUT, SHE-RA STAFF?

LMAO

AIN’T NOBODY SUED YOUR WOKE ASSES YET?

You vs the guy she tells you not to worry about

I know the rest of the probably looks different in action, but even though they’re similar, it’s amazing how different they are when it comes to stuff like how the Voltron one seems to have detail, and just looks a bit more aesthetically pleasing than the She-Ra one.

Plus, is it me, or are the She-Ra designs just a little too “jagged” (I mean, at least for my tastes)? True, I don’t think the designs should get too rounded or “soft”, but at least learn how to balance when a character’s appearance is supposed to “soft” and it’s supposed to be “jagged”. It also doesn’t help that, at least when compared to Voltron, She-Ra’s new art-style looks “flat”, if that makes any sense.

There’s almost no shading in the first picture. In Voltron, you can see that as the characters give thumbs up, their arms cast shadows on their bodies, the flag catches the light, even the planets in the background are lit differently. The She-Ra one, everything is flat and overexposed, the light source is coming from God knows where, twink dude is raising his arm over his chest but it isn’t casting a shadow anywhere and the flag isn’t casting a shadow anywhere and the background is basically a doodle… just look at the difference in Voltron between the chibified flag as compared to the characters. In She-Ra, the doodle on the flag is basically exactly as complex as the ‘real’ character.

This show is not going to age well

in less than a few years.

THAT’S top class animation?!

I thought it was a fanart piece done by a Tumblr artist!
