Imagine telling someone that a 12/13/14 year old should not date someone four years older than them because age gaps matter way more when you’re a child and then have them disagree with you 🤦🏻♀️

Actually a conversation here on tumblr right now. I reblogged a callout post for a, according to his words, 18-year-old guy who’s in a poly relationship with two girls, one two years and one four years younger than him. There were also chat logs about how he wants to kiss the 14-year-old girl and cuddle very closely and he made some sexual implications. It was so gross.
And I seriously saw someone in the notes saying they don’t see anything wrong with it because “they were together even before he was 18” 🙄
Yeah when you’re a minor and even in your 20s age gaps matter (obviously for the latter to a lesser extent but still there is a difference between a 21 year old and a 29 year old). This sounds pretty sketchy to me.
