I am a feminist. I absolutely believe it’s time to stop brushing aside women’s stories. But my first loyalty is to the truth. Instead of simply “believe all women” I propose “listen to all women” (and all those coming forward). Don’t brush off the stories. Listen to them. Investigate them so that the truth may come out, the guilty may be punished, the innocent may go free, and the victims may be vindicated. To me that is equality, to side not with one gender or the other but with the truth.
