Neither is sexist, and women have the added oppurtunity (that men generally do not) of just wearing the one marketted towards the other gender. Simple.
If women bought non sexualised clothing or the “mens clothing” then companies would start selling those sexualised costumes less and less.
They only sell things they think will sell and they will continue to sell whatever does sell.
Not to mention that if the male version of the costume actually pit any effort to show that it was a male costume, it would be considered “toxic masculinity”.
