Not really satisfied with the in-game one despite loving Clive x Mathilda to bits. Relationship goals, yo. Anyway:
“After the war, Mathilda was appointed second-in-command of the One Kingdom’s Order of Knights. Her legendary skill and grace earned her the title ‘Valentia’s Valkyrie’, a nickname first coined by her beloved Clive. The knightly couple lived their days in great happiness and excitement.”
The game’s lady of war isn’t just going to put her lance down; that’s exactly so out of character about her ending, and it’s the one thing that bothers me. It makes sense for Clive to lead, but he knows Mathilda is superior to himself and loves that. It’s so heartwarming the two are with each other.
