“Nobody cares that you’re afraid.” I thought you’d be one of the ones who’d at least understand where the fear might be coming from. I’m on the side of the people who aren’t planning on stripping away the rights to my money, my body, and my life to line their pockets. Who exactly those people will be remains to be seen, but it sure isn’t the people currently running the show.

Tell me what motivation I have to care? I mean really, I want you to look back at, let’s say the last 5 years, and tell me why the common person would be sympathetic.

Most people aren’t far left, or far right, they wobble. They’re more worried about paying billd and putting braces on their kids teeth.

Who’s stripping your rights? I want to know what rights you’re losing, and how you’re losing them. What money are you losing. Who’s taking it. Enough with the vague “bad stuff”, give me examples. Because right now you sound like someone who’s parroting things they’ve been told they should be afraid of, but you can’t tell me exactly why or who you’re afraid is gonna do all this stuff.

These people love vague claims of danger and suffering. Never anything that they are actually experiencing, but more like this cosmic dread, this ever encroaching fear hanging over them, constantly reminding them that something might happen. That they might lose their rights… which rights? WHO FUCKING KNOWS.. But it’s the principle of the matter that any rights might be lost, even if they aren’t entirely sure what a “right” is, or how it can be revoked. All that matters is that somewhere out there, maybe, there’s a hypothetical moustache twirling villain who could be planning on infringing the rights of specific peoples for bad reasons!

Remember how Trump was literally supposed to be killing anyone who wasn’t straight, white, or male at some point?

Yup. And look! My bi, black, female ass is still alive. I can’t believe I bought into that crap once.

If you have the energy to be worrying about Dolan Drumph and politics all day, it either means you are very privileged or very young. It’s worth noting that most of the people who are worried are in their 20s, and people in their 20s don’t have as much responsibilities yet.

We all hate orange man, but most of us have more pressing matters to worry about like college, work, taking care of our families, etc.
