LF protecting their beautiful, beautiful tortured boy.

#‘he is our villain’ yeah sure THAT’S why 😏#maybe it’s because he WASN’T a spoiled child and they don’t want him portrayed inaccurately lmao

#‘HES OURS’#lucasfilm not for spreading that spoiled child bs like sure hes entitled but way to oversimplify#lol

^^
Yeah, he’s entitled and arrogant. In the same way Anakin was entitled and arrogant. Which sure as hell wasn’t because of an especially privileged or “spoiled” upbringing, considering he was a slave for the first 9 years of his life, than joined the Jedi Order, a pretty ascetic existence, including in terms of emotional connection and fulfillment. But these weren’t the entire reason why Anakin turned to the dark, yet people use it to excuse or justify his fall in comparison to Ben’s. Which just goes to show that the whole “spoiled, ungrateful brat” view of Ben is based purely on the fact that he was socially privileged and had 2 living, loving parents, therefor it’s not believable that he could’ve developed real issues, or has any right to be angry at or have any negative feelings towards his family. Even after his uncle/mentor almost murdered him in his sleep that one time. Which is a pretty messed up attitude to have towards mental illness/emotional problems/trauma etc. and what kinds of people with what kinds of backgrounds are ‘allowed’ to be afflicted by those things or have them taken seriously, instead of just brushed aside with “Oh poor little rich girl/boy”.

So anyways, IGN called Kylo a “Disney icon”, and ain’t that the truth.

Rather a complicated villain 😏 as in WE WON’T TELL YOU THAT YET..

Yet more proof that Disney and Lucasfilm are planting the seeds for Kylo’s redemption and they don’t want us thinking he’s a spoiled entitled child.

Oh wow I already was disappointed with Wreck it Ralph 2 and now I have another reason to dislike it.
