Pro choice. I’m of the opinion that it’s better to legalize it and it and if someone’s moral or religious stance is anti-abortion then nobody is forcing them into it and they’re free to carry to term.
The debate instead becomes ‘when’ is the line between when something is considered human life and when it isn’t. And I’m of the opinion that is the point of sentience, which is scientifically debated to be between 12 and 22 weeks. More research should be done.
It’s the same reason why I’m fine with “pulling the plug” on people who suffer brain death. The brain isn’t alive anymore. They’re just meat at that point, you can’t do any harm to them.
