Why should anyone be happy about this? Doesn’t this mean plan B is murder?
It’s good because it’s true. It’s not an opinion, its scientific fact.
And no, murder is illegally killing a human. This would be, and has been, homocide, which is the fact of one human killing another. But that would also be abortion, not plan b. Plan b doesn’t kill anything, it prevents steps. It prevents an egg from coming out of the tube, if the egg has already descended, it prevents the sperm from joining the egg, if that has already occurred, it prevents the egg from implanting. If that has already occurred, plan b will do nothing. All the steps it prevents often occur naturally and it still isn’t killing anything, just rejecting it, which happens to a surprising amount of eggs.
Yeah for all the screaming about how anti science the pro life side is, calling a fetus a “clump of cells” is very scientifically inaccurate.
Of course this doesn’t mean abortion should be illegal, as there are situations where it has to be done.
