the fujoshi discourse is literally just a bunch of mostly white american users taking a term from the japanese language, denying the actual meaning, history, and usage of the term in order to apply their own offensive meaning to it, using said term and their false definition of it as a pejorative, and refusing to listen (if not actively speaking over) japanese users who call them on their bullshit. 

it’s literally the most blatant example of cultural appropriation i’ve seen on this website in the years i’ve been on here.
