Gender roles aren’t inherently patriarchal. Gender roles can exist in a matriarchy. What’s patriarchal is the misogynist devaluing of anything associated with women. Gender roles can be viewed and understood through the patriarchal lens as is usually done but that doesn’t make them innately so. 

Femininity and masculinity vary across time periods and cultures and subcultures. They’re not static concepts. No, looking a certain way does not make you inherently more feminist than other women.
