If you decide to start shit with someone over what they post (be it fandom-related or otherwise), and you pull the “I have autism” card when you’re called out on it, you have no right to get upset when you here some Edgy McEdgerson use it as an insult. If You don’t want someone to use your disorder as an ableist insult against you or other autistic people then stop using it as a scapegoat whenever you do something wrong. Stop giving others reasons to associate autism with negative behavior. Admit you fucked up and own up to your bullshit. Autism doesn’t give you the right to act like an ass.
