My stupid local police say that they will ARREST ANYONE OVER THE AGE OF 13 WHO WEARS A COSTUME ON HALLOWEEN.
WELL COME ARREST ME BECAUSE I AM GOING TRICK OR TREATING AND YOU CANNOT STOP ME.
I am so angry.

Wow that makes no sense. My mom says it’s better for them to be trick or treating instead of partying. No way I’m not going trick or treating this year.
Just don’t wear a mask or obscure your facial features. I don’t think they can actually arrest you regardless, but to be on the safe side that could be the criteria they are gonna use.
Well shit my costume has a half mask….
IIRC most places it’s over the age of 16 they can arrest/cite you, I forget what the charge is though.
If it’s a surgical mask that may be different since that’s a fashion thing now, but I don’t know.

It’s going to absolutely shoot them on the foot because you can’t tell someone’s age by looking at them. Tall children will be arrested and short high schoolers will be let off the hook.
When I was 10 people often mistook me for being 15-16 because of my figure and height. I can bet I would have been arrested if this policy was a thing.
