I feel the pain. French was a pain in the ass for me as a kid because the nouns were gendered. 

The verbs and adjectives changing depending on gender wasn’t an issue because Tamil has the same thing, but NOUNS?! And I later learned that Hindi has the same concept. 

And don’t get me started on English irregular verbs… or on Americanisms. Read Homestuck when you don’t live in America and you will understand what I’m talking about.
